"Why do you have to take ads/donations?"

A popular daily Christian humor email list, Mikey's Funnies reaches over 20,000 people. It's sent every weekday to a mix of church leaders and lay people.

The Funnies list sends both clean humor and occasional thought-provoking, and many times touching, devotional pieces. It's an exceptional vehicle for reaching both church leaders wanting good ideas and active lay persons. Many of them use it as their primary source of material for sermons, Bible studies, newsletters, and more.

The list was started in 1996 at Youth Specialties by Mike Atkinson. It went independent in July 2004.

EXCLUSIVE ad slot…only 1 ad per issue! Ad text due 5 working days before desired publication date.

Mechanical Specifications and Instructions:

Mikey's Funnies is sent in plain text only. We will have a stand-alone HTML advertising option in the future.

HEADLINE:
  • Maximum of 50 characters with spaces (recommended length 30-40)
  • All caps
TEXT:
  • Maximum 70 words (recommended 45-55)
  • Titles of books, albums, etc. in quotes
LINK:
  • Any length, but shorter is better (if a long URL has to linebreak, many email readers will not link it correctly.) Best option is 60 characters or less.
